Hi I’m looking at the Yakima SightLine Roof Rack for Flush Rails - JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black for my 2025 Honda CRV. I like the low profile and that the crossbars extend beyond the towers. Do these towers have locks on them? The older Yakima towers on my Subaru have locks to prevent theft. Do the SightLine towers require any kind of lock or does the installation make them secure enough to not require it? Thanks, Ben

Hey Benjamin,
The Yakima SightLine Roof Rack for Flush Rails # Y26TB does not come with lock cores but there are spaces in the SightLine towers for lock cores to be added. If you want to keep the same key code you could unlock the cores and then use the change key # Y8007835 to remove them from the towers and then transfer them over to the new ones. If you need new lock cores you can use part # Y07204.
I definitely recommend installing lock cores because Yakima products are not cheap and it'd be a huge downer if someone that knew what they were doing came by and stole your roof rack.
