Square Bar Roof Rack that Fits 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring with Flush Rails

Question:

Looking for Thule roof racks to fit 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring SUV with flush rails. Already have a 57 Thule squarebar that I used with 2005 Toyota Camry roof rack. Which Thule Fit Kit do I need? TH52KE? Which flush rail feet? TH710601 or some other one?

Hey Rosa, so we have a Thule square bar roof rack that fits your 2024 Honda CR-V hybrid with flush rails with the part # TH38UG but you should note that Thule recently changed their square bar design so your old bars will not work with current components. Now the racks attach to the square bars with a channel that is on the bottom of them.

Currently we have two Thule J-style kayak racks that fit the old Thule roof rack. If we want to use these and eventually add one or even two Thule kayak Hullavators, what length of Thule square bar roof rack would work on the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring SUV? I understand that groves in the square bar roof rack are only 7" long and that limits the length that one can use. I saw that a 53 inch bar would work with my SUV. If so, would that length support at least one Hullavator plus another kayak with the J-style kayak rack? What other components would be needed to complete the system? Same as mentioned above? We need to order all components shortly for an upcoming trip.

@RosaW So you do have to stick with the recommended length bar from Thule which is the one downside to the new style of bars that have the channels. That should pretty easily be enough room to allow the J-style carrier and a Hullavator part # TH898 though so your plan would still work.

@JamesonC Would the 50 inch square bar that comes with the kit for the 2024 Honda CR-V Touring SUV with flush rails work or do I have to order the 53 inch square bar?
