B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
I bought this for my son, who moved back to the farm, and bought a good used 2002 Chevy duramax so we would have a second truck to pull cattle trailers and haul hay with a fifth wheel flat bed trailer. The B&W underbed turn over ball hitch mounted great and relatively easily. It has performed excellently. My son likes the turn over ball that allows for full use of the pickup box for other uses.
The B&W hitches are the best in the business. I have had 6 of them now from a 92 Dodge, an 07 Dmax, a 2012 HD2500, a 15 Dodge, a 19 HD2500 and a 21 Dmax and now this latest one in an 06 HD2500. I HAVE HAF ZERO ISSUES WITH ALLBOF THESE HITCHES. ZERO!!!!!!!!!. READ the directions and FOLLOW the directions and you will be very satisfied with the results.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Between the videos and the instructions it was very easy to follow. If you’re like me and don’t want to cut your fender liners I simply removed the front bed bolts and jacked one side up to slide in the mounting rails. The only fender I had to cut was the drivers side to allow for the latch pin lever. I really like just how “flush” the hitch really is once you turn over the ball. Overall very impressed with the hitch so far and have already recommended the hitch to other family members and friends.
This hitch is great and I installed it with no problems. This is the hitch to buy if you want quality and strength. The removable ball stores away and is right where you need it.

Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Installed easily on 2015 GMC 2500 HD double cab short bed. Plenty of clearance under the bed when ball is flipped. This system makes for a clean useable bed. When I was purchasing this I was concerned about clearance of a gooseneck hitch and my transfer tank. I have a 40 gal tank that sits back from the cab a bit over 20 inches, there’s plenty of clearance for a gooseneck with a fuel tank on this short bed. The hitch has held up perfectly over the last year. I haul around 12k on steep, washboard, gravel roads.
I think this gooseneck hitch is the best for newer Sierra/Silverado HD trucks. I installed it a week ago with the help of my father-in-law and his car lift. Took about 4 hours moving slowly and taking our time. Everything fit well and bolted right up. I also reinstalled the foil heat shield after removing one mounting ear. I did not drop the exhaust or the plastic heat shield and still got everything in. I chose this specific kit because it did not require notching the bed seam when installing the rails. It also has a higher tongue load rating than the others and was cheaper. The only major criticism I have is the pull wire and carriage bolts. My chassis has weld nuts and I would have preferred to use those over carriage bolts pulled into the chassis. I am thankful there were access holes almost inline with the mounting holes. That made it easy to put pressure on the bolt heads so they didn’t fall back. I also think the gasket around the big hole should be one piece to make it look cleaner. I used black silicone rtv to smooth the transition and adhere the gasket in place. Overall I am completely satisfied with the kit and the help of Shawn B who got my order in, had it shipped that same day and followed up with me after delivery. Thanks etrailer and Shawn B.

Curt Spyder Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails, 25,000 lbs GTW
I really like the convenience of this interchangeable hitch. I have the fifth wheel hitch and the goose neck hitch.
Had to hit one of my rails with a 2 lb sledge just a fuzz to let the tab drop in. The locking tabs are a good idea for the pins. I put my late grandfather’s old classic padlock from his jon boat on one of the tabs. A little nostalgia.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Ok first off. The paint adhesion of any b&w product is probably the worst I've seen for the money. The paint is the first thing that falls off. That being said if you know that already and take some precautions like I did then you can really easily fix this problem. I sandblasted the back half of my frame and did the 3 step por-15 method on everything. I currently live in Indiana and I do seldomly drive it in the winter but I hate rust and will be moving more south shortly. I por-ed every part that came with the hitch. Every bolt and nut got anti-seize. The bolts are also of basic quality and will rust fast. Anything that was metal on metal contact has a layer of marine grease to prevent the from from rusting in between. I'm extra but I felt that this was the only way to go to protect everything. It's still a great product and hasn't let me down yet.
I shopped around for a long time to find this hitch, then I contacted Jessica of etrailer she listened to my wants and helped me find what I needed at the right price. And shipped it to me right away, etrailer is the best. Thank You

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
I love my hitch . I love how I can turn it over and I can still have use of the full truck bed. I could of bought a cheaper hitch but the quality is by far better than other hitches I have owned in the past. Customer service was great after they helped me fix my ordering mistake. Very happy with my hitch.
I was very satisfied from ordering to instillation. Great people and very concerned about your satisfaction. Instructions were complete and easy to follow. Saved approximately 50% in cost. Thanks etrailer

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Came timely and was a complete kit. B&W is by far the best quality turnover ball. Keep it greased and it will work as it should.
A lot of people told me I could not put a goose neck hitch on a 1/2 ton truck. My 2018 Silverado handled the hardware just fine and it pulls an 8,000 lb 3 horse full tack room trailer with ease. I have a 6.5 foot bed - would not recommend this on a 5 foot bed b/c if you jackknife while backing up you will smash your back window. I also recommend installation by a company that does this type of install regularly. I drove an hour to Ocala and had it done at The Hitching Post. They were fair with pricing and easy to work with. Lastly you want to keep a pair of vice grips in your truck to pull up the rollover ball when it is flat. Hay and dust gets in the cracks and it is difficult to pull it up with just your fingers. Overall I highly recommend.

Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Etrailer is awesome, not so much for this product. My first and primary issue is that the safety chain u-bolts are positioned to close to the angle iron brackets to allow clearance for them to freely move up and down with the nuts installed (see photos). I can force them up from below with a hammer and stomped them back down from above. This problem is made worse due to the proximity to the ball, if I dont ensure they arent stomped down as much as possible they would interfere with my coupler when turning. I'm honestly still worried about interference if I find myself in any off camber turn. The other problem I have isnt the fault of the hitch, but now that its installed it is still much more intrusive to the bed space when folded flat than I anticipated. In the past I've had under bed mount balls, this being a work truck I thought the cheaper option would work but I regret that decision.
Etrailer has always come through . Even if there is an issue they respond quickly and that means alot . The prices are the best .

Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Quick Delivery, Direct Fit
Got this for the 01 2500HD Sierra. Metal is extremely thick and strong. However, The holes for the bracket pull the cross bars up to the bottom of the truck better. Makes it seem like a lot of the weight is resting on the bolts and not the crossbars/frame.

Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Accurate install directions, fantastic fit and operates perfectly for my 5th wheel RV
After receiving the parts that were missing from the original order, the hitch was finally installed today, it took more then the 3 hours the video implied, I haven't pulled with it yet, but looking forward to it.. The company was very courteous, very helpful, shipped the missing part promptly. I will do business with them again.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Great product, handled my 18,000lb GVW 5th Wheel with-out issues. Fast delivery and great customer service too!
Can’t go wrong with B&W hitches , install is straight forward everything fit perfect and etrailer ships fast with great customer service. Best hitch on the market as far as I’m concerned and quality is excellent, I have towed heavy and never worry about my hitch. I do add some of the blue loctite to my bolts before installation just for peace of mind.

Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Installed as easy as they said it would. Videos are very helpful. Works great!
The hitch itself seems to be of good quality, well made, and there was no need to raise the bed of the pick up. Still, when it was delivered the box seams were open, the big parts were banging around, and the plastic bag containing all the small parts had broken open and the parts strewn about the interior. The ups guy and I picked up all the parts we could find on the driveway and thankfully I only had to make a couple of trips to the hardware store to buy what was lost. Had one of the custom pieces been lost, the 2 hour installation would have stretched into weeks. As it was, without a hoist and air tools it did take a couple of days. The video on this site was of immense help as the printed instructions were all too brief. I would suggest that the video incorporate wide shots periodically so the viewer can orient to the truck before going in for close ups. Finding a 5/8" hole saw was no easy task either but I did find one eventually. As always, its never as easy as it looks on TV.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Flatbed Trucks - 30,000 lbs
I got a reduce price on a B&W weld in five wheel ball mount do to cosmetic scathing on tow ball which was almost non excestant save 65 dollars as usual B&W makes the most high qaulty parts and e trail are always excellent shipping was faster than they said. Thx again for passing on the savings to the customer
Came in a timely manner, about a week from the time I ordered it to it delivered to my door step in Alaska. The hitch itself is very high quality with nice clean welds and sharp clean edges which took almost no prep work to weld in to the frame I had built for it. You could tell by looking at this that B&W uses nice welding equipment and employs quality welders. Overall very happy with this. Installed on Monroe flatbed on F-450 cab and chassis truck.

Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
I like the hitch but when ai am pulling my trailers, and I am moving them around at low speeds it seems that there is a good amount of movement in the hitch and the feel in the truck. I’m not sure what that is but I have used trucks that didn’t have that feel in them but mine definitely does. We followed all directions and torqued all bolts to the required amount. Maybe someone can shed some light on what that maybe. Thanks
The kit arrived in two days. The quality is very good. All the parts fit as described. We were able to install it in a few hours without a lift. We plan on pulling a 14,000 # trailer to move farm equipment. This trailer will replace an old 12,000# pintle hitch trailer. I would definitely recommend this kit to others.

Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Unit installed and pulled my fifth wheel to provincetowne Mass. Unhooked and pulled the ball out and picked up some firewood. Nice flat surface. Love it. Only way to go.
Great value and durability. Self install in about 3 hours and has remained solid since then. Put in about 10k miles towing a 31 foot trailer with it.

Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for GM/Chevy/Ford/Nissan Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 30K
The kit was exactly what it said it was. Fit snugly on my 2017 f250. Shipping was quick and arrived on time. Very pleased with e trailer and curt hitches. Only downfall I had was the carry case was beat up a little and cracked on one side but is still usable.
Very well made. It’s what I would expect to get from Curt. Fits great. It will get its first test next week. Thanks etrailer. Once again you came through.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
This was my first order I placed with et etrailer. If one work could say it I guess it would perfect! I ordered on a Tuesday arrived on Thursday. I Placed the order got conformation and a name and contact to call if I had any issues, once it arrived I got another email letting me know if had been delivered. The installation video was perfect made it’s easy to install just followed the steps. When I need any trailer related items I will use them. As far as the B&W hitch i put it in a 2017 Ram 2500 with Ram boxes. The fit and quality of the hitch and design is what I have come to expect from B&W. I got this hitch to pull a gooseneck horse trailer. If your wondering if it will work with Ram Boxes it will.
Great product from a great company. B&W sets the bar when it comes to all things towing/trailer related. And etrailer.com compliments them very well with customer service. I have utilized my turnover set up for about a year now with no issues. the convince of having a gooseneck ball when needed but still having complete use of my bed space critical for me as a contractor. I am constantly using the bed of my truck to haul tools and light material from site to site but also on occasion have to pick up bulk materials or move equipment with our gooseneck. The turnover ball from B&W was exactly what we needed to remain versatile.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
This is my second B&W GN hitch from Etrailer. 1st is over 2 years and this one is a year. Both have worked almost flawlessly. Only issue I have is that the ball release latch on this last one is really difficult to get to stay latched open to turn the ball.
This B&W hitch preforms perfectly, my Companion Hitch slips right in and away we go, also it was very easy to install with having the template for the ball cut out, I also hook right on to my goose neck straight ball. Release mechanism works great. I keep a little lubricant applied to help it from seizing up when I'm not using it, awesome hitch, I've had a B & W Hitch for 24 years in two different trucks.

B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs
Difficult to determine installation ease, as I had the bed off my truck while installing. That made it very easy, but instructions were good and its a straightforward process. Very well made, and fit precisely on my truck. I think the B&W system is very tough to beat. Solid and dependable. And their after sale customer service is excellent.
Great service and a great product! Quick delivery and good communication regarding status. Of course it’s a great hitch, it’s a B&W…
Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra
Shane: Hey, everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 and I'm going to walk through how to install Draw-Tite's Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Hitch. This is going to be designed for hauling your gooseneck trailers. It's going to be completely underneath the bed. Our ball, when we're not towing a trailer, can be flipped over to give us complete bed access. Our ball itself is going to be two and 5/16ths.
Best 2013 GMC Sierra Gooseneck Options
Today on our 2013 GMC Sierra we'll be looking at our best gooseneck hitch options. We have three gooseneck hitch options here for you today. On the top we have the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch, part number BWGNRK1057. In the middle we have the CURT Double Flip-and-Store Gooseneck Hitch, part number C615-632. On the bottom we have the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose, part number 9465-54. The biggest differences that we found between our hitches here today is that our B&W hitch here at the and our Draw-Tite hitch here on the bottom both allow the use of a fifth wheel adapter so you can tow not only a gooseneck but a fifth wheel trailer as well. Now even though our Draw-Tite hitch here can tow a fifth wheel trailer with an adapter with its round hole, our B&W hitch, with its square hole here, is slightly more versatile for using an adapter. Now the reason square is better for a fifth wheel adapter is because it will help resist a twisting action and you don't have to worry about your fifth wheel head twisting in the bed of your truck. Now one thing that our CURT hitch differs from the other two is the fact that our ball is secured with a two-pin mechanism.
B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 GMC Sierra
On this 2013 GMC Sierra, we're going to review and install the B&W Turnover Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with the installation kit. Part number BWGNRK1012. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on our Sierra. You notice we have it inside the bed liner. It works just fine. First off, here's a 2 5/16 inch hitch ball, which can be easily removed by operating the pin on the inside. Pull the pin out and towards the front of the truck. You release the pin and you can take the ball out. If you'd like you can store it inside the hitch upside down.

Today, on this 2013 GMC Sierra, we're going to install part number C607-604 from Curt. Now, we can go ahead and show you how it works. We pull out the handle and twist it towards the front and the body-locking pin will move to side and hit a stop. That will keep it open. Then, you can go ahead and take the ball and remove it or install it as needed. When you need to lock it in place for towing, just pull out a little bit, rotate the handle back towards the ground and then just let it go.

All right. Today on this 2013 GMC Sierra we're going to install part number DH1314 from Blue Ox. This is their Diamond Head Hitch. Okay, to start off our install we'll go ahead and remove the tires and wheels from the back axle as well as lowering the spare tire. Now also we're going to remove the fender wheel liners as well. We definitely don't have to do this, but it does make things a little bit easier to see. Next, we're going to lower the exhaust.

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Gmc Sierra - Curt
Today on our 2011 GMC Sierra we are going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt Double Lock Flip and Store Under Bed Gooseneck Hitch with install kit. Part number C607-604. What sets apart this hitch from the rest of them, it's got a double locking pin, where most of them only have one pin that goes through this one has two. It's going to keep your load extra secure. The reason you want this product is that fact that it only has the four holes that you are going to drill for your safety chain loops and one four inch diameter hole in the bed. Everything else is a bolt on using existing holes. Now your trailer ball is a 2 and 5/16 that is chrome plated along with the nice ring along the outside.

To lock the pin down, simply pull down on the handle a little bit, twist it towards the back of the truck, and it's spring-loaded and locks itself back it. This is what the hitch looks when it's installed in the truck. You'll see a very small footprint in the bed of the truck.

It's custom fit to match your truck, so everything mounts right in place. The ball can be repositioned upside down, and this will give you full bed access. Today on our 2009 GMC Sierra we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose under-bed gooseneck trailer hitch with installation kit, part number 9465-54. All right, here's what our gooseneck looks like installed. As you can see, our gooseneck design gives us clean access of our truck bed here. There's nothing sticking up above it at all besides our gooseneck ball and our safety chain loops, which are spring-loaded. Our gooseneck system that we have installed with its 2 5/16" ball has a 7,500 pound vertical load limit, that's the amount pushing down. And then a 30,000 pound max gross trailer weight rating, which is the amount that we can pull. When we're not hooked up to our trailer, we can actually store our ball upside down in the gooseneck head so it's readily available and doesn't take up any of our truck bed space so we can still store stuff in our truck bed and not lose any of that valuable space.

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 GMC Sierra
Today we are going to be installing Hide-a-Goose part number 9465-4434 on a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500. The first thing we want to do is to go ahead and lower the spare tire. That will give us a lot more room to install the gooseneck system. The second step is to go ahead and cut out a section of the heat shield, which is basically forward of the axle in between the two hat channels, which is basically parallel to the gas tank as well. We need to go ahead and cut that section out to allow us to get the crossmembers into place. OK, with that section of the heat shield removed, we want to next go inside the bed. And we are going to go ahead and mark and then drill our hole for the opening in the Hide-a-Goose system. You want to check with your directions to verify the appropriate dimension that you are going to be drilling from. On this particular short-bed model, we are going to go ahead and mark from the end of the bed at 44-1/2 inches, and then we just want to center that in between the two wheel wells, which will land us right in the center of this rib here. And with my dimensions marked out, I am just going to go ahead and center punch that location, and then we are going to go ahead and drill out our 3-1/2 inch hole.
Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 GMC Sierra
Today we are going to install part number 9465 our gooseneck head assembly. We will also be installing a rail kit which is part number 4434 for our 2005 GMC Sierra pickup 3500. The first step involved would be to make room for the install kit and rails. What happens is this heat shield needs to be removed. We are going to take it out from this section to this beam here. To make it easier maybe go all the way this far back. But for necessity purposes we need from here to here for the rails. We cut out our heat shield and left an inch or so hanging off. We took a rubber mallet and beat it back and keep it away from the sharp edges as much as possible. Our next step will be to loosen the bed so we can slide the rails underneath the truck. There are 2 options on how you will do this part.
Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2002 GMC Sierra
Today on a 2002 GMC Sierra, were going to install Curts Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch using part number C600-652. Alright what we have done so far is remove the rear wheels and the spare tire. Now you dont have to remove the rear wheels, but it makes it easier to get access to the frame and get in there and see what is going on. So after that our first step is going to be to cut our a piece of heat shield. This is the section we are going to have to remove for the heat shield, from here to here, because our hitch is going to sit right in this spot. And to make things easier there, we will loosen up the truck bed, and tilt it up so that we can get to it.
Gooseneck Hitch Installation - 2001 GMC Sierra
Today on our 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 Short Bed, we'll be installing the B & W Turnover Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number BWGNRK1067. Next we'll go over the handle, operation and installing of the gooseneck hitch ball. To operate the handle, we'll simply pull out, rotate it forward and we'll lock the handle open so that we can put our hitch ball in place. Then to lock the hitch ball in position, we'll simply rotate it back towards the rear of the vehicle and allow the spring to re-lock the pin. With the handle open, we'll drop the ball in place, close the handle, which will allow the pin to go through the ball and lock it in place, allowing us to set up for towing our gooseneck trailer. Then once we're done towing, we'll pull the handle back out, remove the ball, turn it over, put it back into the hitch, putting it in the stored position, re-throwing the handle, locking it in place. To begin our install, we're first going to lower and remove the spare tire, give us some more working room underneath. Next we'll remove both rear wheels.
