Just what I needed for 5th wheel and good quality

Towed a sailboat (6000 lbs) on trailer (~1500 lbs) from Missouri to Colorado with a 1/2 Ton chevy pickup. Did great, no sway, no issues whatsoever. Installation was straightforward and done in the boat yard with limited tools without any trouble at all. We didn't put the boat on the trailer and had no opportunity to adjust the weight distribution. No problems at all. I definitely can recommend this hitch setup.

Received my Goosebox yesterday installed today, it went well with online installation video. The instructions in the box were basic and didn't include connecting the Goosebox to the truck with how to pressurize the air, which would have been helpful. The packaging job wasn't very good, box was loosely packaged allowing hitch to move around inside the box. Luckily there was no damage. All and all, it went well, just would have been better with more details on operating the Goosebox hitch itself

Great quality chains, haven't hooded them up yet as its winter here in Ontario Canada but I'm sure they'll work great.

I'm using these as a safety chain for a vehicle on a tow dolly. The vinyl coating will ensure they don't scratch the wheels of our Jeep. I did have an issue (not the fault of the product) with the size of the hooks--they are too small to hook to the ratchet bar on the dolly. I bought a couple 11,000 lb hook and bolted them to the dolly to solve the problem.

I really love this safety chain. It is so much stronger and well made that my original chain. I especially like the built-in clips that prevent the chain from popping off. Received just fine. Hooked it up to the truck hitch with some very minor filing on the Ford class v hitch where the holes were drilled. Now to give it a try pulling something. (2016 DRW Ford F-350 with Lance 975 Truck Camper)

The safety chains were a perfect fit for my 12’ utility trailer, in addition to the new eTrailer side crank jack. I really like the installed “S” hook with the safety spring clip. The chain is appropriate weight for a smaller trailer and confident of their ability should the need arise.

Arrived exactly as described. Quick link connectors allow easy take-up of extra chain length and attaching to existing chains/welded-on-to-trailer-links a breeze. I used these longer chains to replace the original, shorter chains on my 12' utility trailer after I bought a new truck and the old chains couldn't reach the new truck.

Exactly as advertised. Arrived promptly. Great communication - order confirmation, when shipped, expected arrival. Appropriate packaging. All as it should be - thanks! Only 1 point - I almost ordered the wrong wheel size. The hole to adjacent hole distance is easy to get wrong if you try to eyeball centers- measuring edge to edge would be more reliable. But a little error here steers you to the wrong size. My existing wheel had a raised feature at the bolt circle diameter that I measured to get back on track.

Ordered safety chains for my boat trailer. No problems, easy order, came on time and were exactly as described. I will use etrailer again in the future.

The trailer hitch that I bought from etrailer for my CRV are fine, good quality and I had no problem installing it. The major problem is now that the hitch is mounted there is very little room between the end of the mounting bolt/nut for the hitch and the top of the muffler. The exhaust system is rubber mounted and normally vibrates away on those rubber mounts. With less clearance it now vibrates against the mounting bolt for the trailer hitch and rattles like a machine gun on acceleration etc, and every bump in the road. This is not good, I need a fix.

Shipping on this item was quick and packaged extremely well. The GenY hitch exceeded our expectations. We just completed a 600 mile trip. In the first 100 miles we noticed some stiffness, but after that it loosened up and on the return home we definitely noticed a difference. The hitch is very easy to hook up and as long as you are within a few inches the hitch will center itself and slide onto the ball. We towed with an F350 6 3/4 foot bed and I do not see any need for the 4 inch extension ball setup. A subcompact tractor makes 1 person install of the hitch a complete breeze. The angle is perfect. I ordered the GenY chains and mounting bolts and all worked very well.

The first time the chain arrived I set it aside to deal with other things until I was ready to install the gen y hitch I bought it for. Once I took a look at it, the chain was wrong and was too long, the clevis's weren't right. I contacted e-trailer and was sent the correct chain on a two day shipping and then sent the other one back. They are human and make mistakes but they sure take care of business when they need to fix something. Thanks e-trailer.
