For our ground clearance up into here that's 18", and for our closest-to-the-bumper will be right here and that's going to be 8" here. Now, the exhaust on the Ford Expedition is on our passenger side and it is pointed outward, so just keep that in mind.

First measurement will be overall distance, I'm looking at 42-1/2", and for our ground clearance, I'm looking at 21" here, then the closest point to our cargo carrier, we're looking at 17" there. On the Ford Expedition, the exhaust is on your passenger side and it is pretty much pointing straight out, so just keep that in mind if you have any heat sensitive materials.

I will be about 3" for that closest one there at the shank.

Today on our 2015 Ford Expedition we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Arrow Gear Cage. This is going to be your thirty two by forty eight inch gear cage. Pro Series Solo Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ford Expedition

Today on our 2014 Ford Expedition, we're going to be test fitting the 31" by 47" Pro Series Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches. With a 400-pound weight capacity, its part number is PS1040100. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the cargo carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our pin holes, slide our pin through and secure it with a clip. Let's go over a few clearance measurements. As you can see here at the rear, you'll have about 20" worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our Expedition is about 9 1/2".

Today on our 2014 Ford Expedition were going to be test fitting the 20 x 47 Maxx Tow Cargo Carrier for 2 inch hitches. With the 500 pound weight capacity its part number is MT70108. To begin our test fit were going to slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, well then lineup our pin holes, slide through our pin, and secure it with a click. Lets go over a few measurements here. You will have about 17 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of the vehicle is about 6 inches and overall weve added about 29 inches to the length of the Expedition. When opening our rear hatch it breaks over the carrier at about 14 inches. With our cargo carrier secure were ready to load up our gear and hit the trail. That will complete todays test fit of the 20 x 47 Maxx Tow Cargo Carrier, part number MT70108, on our 2014 Ford Expedition. .

To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, well lineup our pin holes, slide through our pin, then secure it with a click. Now lets take a few measurements. As you can see here at the rear of the rack youll have about 17 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of the Expedition is about 4 inches and weve added about 24 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. When opening our rear hatch it breaks over the carrier at about 13 inches. With our rack secure were ready to load our gear and hit the road. That will complete todays test fit of the 17 x 50 Maxx Tow Cargo Carrier, part number MT70107, on our 2014 Ford Expedition. .

Today on our 2014 Ford Expedition, we'll be test fitting the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches with a 500 pound weight capacity. It's part number is C18145. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, thread in our anti rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. As you can see we have about 18 inches of ground clearance here at the rear of the rack. The closest point of the rack to the back of the Expedition is about 3 3/4 of an inch and overall we've added about 23 1/2 inches to the length of the Expedition. When opening our rear hatch, it breaks over our carrier at about the 13 inch mark.
