This Yakima EXO enclosed carrier # Y62VR was made for class III and IV hitches with 2-inch receiver combination. Just remember to check the tongue weight capacity of the hitch and vehicle and keep the weight of the carrier and all of its contents below the lowest recommended tongue weight rating. You would choose the lower weight of the two.

If you have a Class III or larger hitch on your Expedition, then you could use the Yakima EXO Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR. It has a swinging feature that will allow you full access to your vehicle.
