Most Popular Fixed Rack for 2021 Nissan Frontier

Just received the Truck Bed ladder rack yesterday and began to install it on my 2013 Nissan Frontier this morning. The package arrived in great shape. The rack looks great so far, it's well built and should handle everything I'll need it for; lumber and ladders. It's super easy to install. The only negative I have is I wish the triangular stops were easy to remove when not in use and easy to reinstall when needed. I may come up with something. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought this in conjunction with some kayak racks to carry 2 kayaks while pulling our TT in Nissan Frontier crew cab with short bed. Works great, does its job, not too hard to uninstall. Only warning to future users, if you have a utility track in the bed you may have to use a mallet to pound the J hooks to wiggle around the track when removing the rack.

Should work fine as intended. It is a bear to assemble. Tons of bolts I am worried will loosen over time. Just installed it today. Let’s see how it goes.

This rack exceeded my expectations. The quality is second to none. Installation was quick and if required, removal is even quicker. Adding this rack to my Nissan Frontier has given me much more functionality and increased capability. Delivery took a little longer than expected, but customer support at etrailer kept me informed and sought alternatives if I couldn't wait. Best rack on the market, and I’ve owned many! This is my second set of TracRac ladder rack systems. The first in 2006, and it was still going strong until I sold the truck with the rack on it, and now this one I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, this will be my last one as it will take me into retirement, but it will live on with the new owner that buys this truck! Thank you for manufacturing such a good quality product. The rack is great. Simple to install, extremely sturdy & very well designed. I drove it to Cars & Coffee yesterday & someone asked me what I needed to haul or if I merely installed them "because they look cool." The young lady, Janeth, that helped me was really great! Smart, polite, patient, & above all... knowledgeable about product. I would suggest selling the rack specific for Retrax bed cover. The amount of hardware left over when you add the adapter kit to the standard rack seems really excessive. Rather than be $169 add, it should be a deduct of at least that much.

I had a Thule rack for almost 10 years, but new truck came with a tonneau and the Thule I had was not compatible. This is very solid with the tonneau adapters.Its not as easy to adjust as the Thule but only adjusting a couple times a year, it's ok.

I have not used it yet but i did install it on my truck. may main use is going to be for kayaks. i have a 5 ft beed nissan and a 13 1/2 ft kayak so this will def help out. product seems to be very sturdy.

I'm extremely pleased at the way etrailer/Erickson truck rack turned out, and how easy it was to assemble, just one glance at the instructions and I was able to put together without even thinking about it. etrailers videos were also very helpful. rock-solid, no swaying or movement, no noise or sound coming from it whatsoever, very aerodynamic. Bought this for my 2020 Toyota Tacoma and with the adapter kit (https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Thule/THXK4.html), it works perfectly for what I needed. Right now using it to haul two kayaks but eventually will be using it to haul a hardtop camper. Perfect midsize height. Very sturdy, somewhat easy to assemble (Thule instructions are pretty bare bones but once you get started it's pretty easy to follow).

It’s very well made, heavy duty. Looks good and should last a very long time. I’ve put my Yakima SkyBox 18 on it and we are ready for adventure.

I ordered a truck rack Monday Sept 17th just after 8am pacific time. Within an hour I received an e-mail that the order was being processed. A short time later i received an e-mail that the order had shipped . I received my order on Friday the 21st. I have installed the Rack in my truck and it looks great. Ability to raise and lower the rack is very useful. It allows me to keep the boats as low to the ground/truck cab as possible for easier loading/unloading. I can raise the rear rack and load a motorcycle without removing it. I have removed the endcaps and run straps through the crossbars and was able to load two 17 aluminum canoes at once. Note, the endcaps are a bit delicate and extremely expensive to replace!

I recently made a 4 hour trip home after picking up a new kayak while using the following equipment for the first time: Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs - J-Style, Thule Watersports Adapter for Aeroblade/Aeroblade Edge Bars and Thule Bow/Stern Tie-Downs. I'm impressed with the performance of all of those components.

Box was broken on delivery I notified them and they told Me if anything was missing that they would take care of it. Come to find out everything was still there. Everything went together perfectly. Thank you for the communication. Look forward to working again with you all in the future

Works seamlessly with the retrax rollup cover and not too hard to install. Adjusting the height takes a little bit of work but that is only done on a very limited basis. Allows me to carry my kayaks, a cargo box if I need extra space or paddles & fishing rods so they don't get damaged by closing the tailgate on them.

I split two rack systems to allow us to carry larger ladders. Outstanding service and info from trainer to help make this happen! CSR reps were great to work with.

Delivery was fast as usual. The installation does take a couple hours and is much easier with a second set of hands. I have a drop in bed liner on my F150 so I did have to do some cutting but my oscillating tool made that a quick modification. Make sure to use the no seize on the bolts so they don't heat up when cranking them into place. Lastly, there are NO drain holes in the bottom of the tubes and believe me they do fill with water and ice in cold temps. I drilled two 1/2 in. holes in the sides at the bottom so they can drain but if I realized there were no weep holes I would have drilled a hole in the bottom of each before installation. After drilling the hole, make sure to coat with a primer and some paint to prevent rusting. Other than what I encountered they will serve their purpose and seem good overall.

I’ve been using this ladder rack for a year now and it has stood the test of time. I love the ability to remove the arms when I’m not using them so my tonneau cover can be closed. Highly recommended for the occasional need for a tough ladder rack.

Order confirmed on Nov. 28, shipped Nov. 30th Arrived Dec. 2nd. Very pleased with the prompt delivery this time of year. Opened the box and the racks look fantastic. Can’t wait to get them on as I am in the beginning stages of building 12x16 shed, and will need the racks to transport rafters.

I think the bottle opener feature advertised should work! I emailed about that shortly after installing the product, even sending photos, and no one from your company every reached back out to me to resolve the issue.

Yakima products are renowned for their ease of assembly, installation, and sturdy craftsmanship. The BedRock HD does not disappoint in any of these categories. We bought the BedRock HD Truck Bed Rack with the hope that it would make loading/hauling our kayak and SUP more user friendly when used in conjunction with the LongArm Extension. Another factor we considered when purchasing this combo was how securely the watercraft would ride for 10-12 hours of driving time. Though we have yet to make a trip of that length, both watercraft are extremely secure once loaded and strapped down. I am able to make the truck bed sway back and forth when pushing and pulling on the strapped down SUP. I’m confident both craft will be held securely for any duration we intend to drive. Since the 2020 Toyota Tacoma with the 5 ft. bed is somewhat limited on bed space it was important for us to have a set up that would allow us to maximize our truck bed use. With the BedRock HD and LongArm combo we are able to accomplish our goal. There is 19” of clearance between the floor of the truck bed and the bottom of the HD crossbar with pad installed. Without a pad on the crossbar there is 20” of clearance. Plenty of room for our gear totes and cooler. For those interested, I installed the forward-most crossbar/tower assemblies 17.75 inches rearward of the front outside corners of the bed. The rearward-most crossbar/tower assemblies are installed 14.25 inches forward of the rear outside corners of the bed (excluding the top of the tailgate). That gave me a center to center crossbar spread of 28”. The LongArm Extension is bolted with the tee bar at its shortest configuration, and the entire assembly is bolted one hole placement from the vertical position. [See attached photos]
