Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
We have put the rack together. We did find an adaption for 2013 Chevy Volt. There was a setting suggested. It was not the correct setting. Directions are really sketchy. A better set of directions would be appreciated. We did persist and like the result.
Great product. Works just like advertised on my 2015 Volt.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
I really like my Thule bike rack! I have a Chevy Volt. The rack fits well, and is easy to install and take off. It's VERY sturdy access reliable. I've carried 3 bikes on the rack, and not worried a bit about whether it would hold. I highly recommend it!
Really easy to install, fits nice on a Volt if you add a little padding (neoprane or a folded towel works) under the lower arm to avoid rubbing the bumper. Use it all the time on multiple vehicles. I do use the Swagman arm on the women's bike so it sits level, without it the bike rides a little too low.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I was sent additional mounting materials that don't correspond with my hitch or my bike rack. See the photo below. Are these materials for my Swagman STC2 Bike Rack Item #S64670?
Very stable and simple to use bike rack that works great with my road bike AND with my 29" Big Rippers. It makes loading and unloading the bikes a snap and they are safe and secure for traveling once loaded and secured. I have already logged over a thousand miles hauling bicycles with this rack and highly recommend it. I am a big fan of Yakima roof racks but, honestly, wish I would have went with this setup for my bikes from the beginning.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Works as expected. The hardware kit didn't didn't contain a proper pin to lock the rack to the hitch. I used a 10mm bolt and nylock nut.
Purchased for our 2016 Chevy Volt. We mounted it ourselves and was relatively easy. Highly recommend. We use it to carry 2 bicycles.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Tilting
This bike rack was very easy to install and is lightweight and easy to handle. It is well made, and after watching the videos on your website I felt like a pro. It fit the car exactly as shown, clears the trunk easily. I put it on a small sports car so weight was a factor. It holds the bike very secure with four straps.
The quality of the bike rack was excellent, but I was unable to use it because I couldn't open and close my trunk (Honda Accord 2012) when the bike rack was closed. It may have worked if I had a different trailer hitch, but I didn't want to spend the extra money on a new trailer hitch. Unfortunately, I will need to return the bike rack.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Sturdy once installed correctly. My Chevy Volt doesn’t have great clearance on the hatch for the top anchors, so had to improvise. Worked great after that!
So far really great! I love the stability my bike has on the rack, fit for my 2021 Honda Civic, and the quality of the material engineered into the design to prevent damage to the cars paint/parts.

Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
I can't say enough good things about this bike rack.I was going to go with a cheaper model but I'm glad I spent the extra money for this Saris. The rack installs and comes off the hitch quickly. The bikes also are easy to load and unload. This thing is great. The first one got ruined by the carrier and etrailer sent me out a new one immediately.Top notch service.
Thanks to etrailer’s excellent information, I managed to find a bike rack that would carry 2 e-bikes and work with my existing class I 1-1/4 in receiver. I had the added challenge that I carry the bikes on a car that I tow behind my RV, so it needed to be rated for a tow vehicle. The Saris Superclamp EX met all my criteria, and for a reasonable price. I was also happy to find that it’s made in the USA. Install was fairly easy, couple of minor hiccup’s as I figured out the drawings, which, to be honest, weren’t entirely clear. But it’s pretty intuitive, so just added an extra minute or two, and probably wouldn’t phase the more mechanically minded. I’m a somewhat out of shape 50’s female, and I don’t have any trouble moving the rack around, it’s a nice weight and fairly compact when collapsed. It’s very easy to access the hatch when the bikes are not mounted. Haven’t tried it with bikes on yet. Once installed, it is rock solid. Loading my 45ish lb bike (with battery removed) is doable. In a perfect world it would have a ramp, but given my other criteria were met, I’m happy to do without the ramp. The rack seems like it holds the bike firmly during transport so overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Also, there wasn’t a ton of unnecessary packaging to get rid of, but things were well protected in shipment. Customer service from etrailer is stellar as well, they helped quickly with a minor issue. Happy customer here!

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
I'm so very happy with this rack!! It was fairly easy to assemble love the sturdy feel. Maiden voyage today the two Ebike's loaded easily and were secured. I think I made the right choice. Thank you
Love the fit and solid quality build of this bike carrier. Can't wait to try it out. I am using this carrier for two e-bikes and I am confident that it will hold up very nicely and will have no problem holding the weight of the 2 bikes.

RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
Info shared by manufacturer for display on all web sites is different than that shared in product manual. "Weight capacity (per bike): 60 lbs. Add-on weight capacity: 40 lbs." For a 2 rack carrier, this implies it's 60#/bike. It's not. It's only 60# if only 1 bike. When add on the rack for the 2nd bike, it drops weight capacity for both bikes. So our 35# and 47# bikes can no be carried by this carrier. 2nd: No amount of struggle on our part could enable is to attach the 2nd rail. Can't remember now if holes didn't align, or screw/bolt couldn't be joined. But shouldn't have to hire someone to re-engineer screws/bolts. As a single rack, it's nice. But we wanted a double rack and this doesn't do what info implied.
Overall this is a good rack. It's very easy to use and requires no effort to get a bike mounted in seconds! It also can handle my fat bike with 4 inch tires. I did buy an extension from etrailer so I counld haul another bike. This extension ONLY has two short bolts to secure it to the rack which come loose all the time. Not a very good design and one of the bolts has stripped from having to tighten it so much. Needless to say I am disappointed and somewhat worried about putting a bike on the extension. If I did not have an extension for a secound bike I would have given this rack a much higher rating.

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gray
I love this bike rack! I drove from California to Maine last summer with 2 bikes on the back of a Chevy volt. Very sturdy, and easy to get bikes on and off. Also like the way it tilts so I can get into the hatch.
We love this bike rack for its ease of use and solid construction. Bikes are quick and easy to load in and lock down tight. The hitch-receiver tightening system works great for a wobble-free rack and the hinge and locking lever work smooth and solid. It looks nice too.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Seems like a good rack for the price, especially when compared to others with the same weight rating. It was very easy to assemble, just a few bolts and that's it. I put two 62lb e-bikes on it (Ride1Up Turris) and it has minimal wobble and movement as expected. The straps that come on the center cradles were too short to go around our bike's frame and battery so I had to purchase a separate set of long straps from Saris for an additional $20. So be aware if you have an e-bike with a fat frame where you plan to use the cradle on, you might have to spend another $20 on a pair of long straps. While I waited for the straps I just used a velcro-strap and it worked fine. So far I am content with this rack overall and hope it lasts many years.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to purchase additional straps to make it work.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gray
etrailer was prompt to answer my questions regarding whether this rack would work with my Chevy Volt. Best price out there, quick delivery, easy assembly and installation. Love this rack! And I am on my way cycling!
After doing extensive research before buying my first ever bike rack, I chose the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 platform rack. I considered trunk mounted, hanging and platform racks before settling on a platform rack. I like the stability, the ease of loading and unloading and very importantly, the absence of contact with the frame of my bike. My bike has a beautiful paint job that I want to preserve. I looked at lots of racks online and at a bike shop and opted for the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 because of the excellent engineering, including the design of the packaging that becomes a work bench for assembling the rack, the relatively light weight (32 pounds), the inclusion of a hitch lock and a bike lock, the stability of the platform, even with a 1.25" connection and a class I hitch, and the ease of operation. Additionally, the overall appearance of the rack suggests high quality. Time will tell how well it ages but I'm pretty confident that I'll be pleased with it. I was very fortunate to find a used, like new Kuat via Etrailer at a meaningful discount that still qualified for the manufacturer's warranty! Thank you Etrailer! A tip to pass along that was shared with me, U-Haul is an excellent source for buying and installing hitches to accommodate bike racks - very attractive pricing, high quality installation and a super unlimited lifetime warranty. Can't wait for Spring and the chance to transport my bike to inviting riding venues!! PS The hitch and bike rack work very well with my 2011 Honda Accord Coupe, EXL V6 model that remains in excellent condition.

Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Clamp On - Aluminum - Black and Polished Chrome
Installed all products after having watched videos and read through pdf instructions. The Yakima JetStream roof rack system is outstanding (with one exception) - instructions and videos facilitated the installation. The Yakima system is the only one I could find for my car (Mercedes E450 Coupe), as the car's panorama roof glass extends to the edges near the fixed mounts. The Yakima system is quiet, thanks to the ability to modify the crossbar pitch angles, and has a high-quality appearance that complements my car. And it is rock solid. The Kuat Trio bike tray is an outstanding low-cost, simple solution - well-designed and well-executed and installs to the Yakima JetStream bars flawlessly. I would recommend that Kuat include a 12mm x 100mm thru-axle in the Trio kit, as I had to purchase that part separately. Only disappointment is in the Yakima Landing Pad Covers that ship with the Landing Pad 22 (LP 22) kit. The covers do not snap tightly into place, and appear as if they were designed for a different Landing Pad. In summary, my Yakima/Kuat bicycle roof rack system exceeds expectations (except for the LP 22 Covers), operates flawlessly, looks great, and stores easily. It has given me high confidence in Yakima, in Kuat and in etrailer.com. Well done.
Product arrived quickly, and with all the necessary parts and pieces. Installation was quick and easy, and the product performs exactly as I had hoped.
What our customers are saying:
