To begin our test fit we'll first need to get our hitch height. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We have a hitch height measurement of 17-1/2 inches. Please keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to the hitch style, tire size or after market accessories. We'll go ahead and grab our ball mount and slide the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch securing it with the pin and clip. Now we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and get a measurement of about 15 inches. Make sure when measuring your trailer height you do so when your trailer is level. You want to measure from the ground to the bottom of your coupler. If your measurement matches our's, then this would be a good fit for you. We'll now flip the ball mount over into the rise position.
