Everything arrived on time and well packaged. I installed a Curt hitch receiver to go with this ball mount. Installation for the hitch went exactly as described and was fairly simple for even a novice like me. Very pleased with etrailer.com and with Curt brand products in general. Didn't realize that the unit came with a pin and clip so I ordered one. Now I have 2. No problem. Good product and it was delivered 2 days earlier than anticipated!

Good fit into the receiver. The hols for the ball was a little larger than I expected, so will have to get a new one.

This is very good quality. The product was shipped a express shipping at no extra cost to me. I had indicated standard shipping. But the company on its own did the express shipping. The product is very durable and well made. The canvass bag that comes with the product is sturdy and able to hold all of the items with no problems. I found this company by just hitting what size receiver for my 2015 Ford Explorer. Other then that I didn't know about them. A terrific company in which to do business with. I purchased this Curt Ball mount 10-1/4" because I also bought ball hitch mounted mud flaps and my existing hitch was too short.This hitch was maybe a little too long, but it should work.I hope this combination will protect my horse trailer from my nasty gravel roads!

With good information from the website it was easy to order a Curt 2" Trailer Hitch, the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit w/ 4-Pole Connector and Circuit Tester - 119178KIT, Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches (3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10-1/4" Long - 7,500 lbs - D-4), Curt Pin and Clip Hitch Receiver - C21500, Rubber Tube Cover for 2" Trailer Hitch Receivers - I-728,Review, and 2" hitch ball 40038. Parts were delivered earlier than the initial estimate. Self installation (on a sloped drive way) took just under 2 hour. The fit of parts was very good, instructions and on-line video's were very helpful. My Kia did not have the wire plug in option, but the splice connections in the wire kit were easy to install. Most of the parts are hidden from view when the ball mount is not used.

Obviously, I won't know for sure until I take it out with a trailer a few times, but I am glad to find a product that can tow my car and carry my bike rack at the same time!

It looks like it will work OK. It fits and appears to be the right height for my utility trailer, but I did not get a pin to hold the unit into my receiver - just the product. The picture showed a pin and a clasp was included.

Easy to use and haven't had any trouble towing my small trailer with motorcycle on board. Def recommend.

This was purchased for towing a 7k GTWR utility/landscape trailer with my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT 4x4. I measured for necessary drop before ordering, and the 4" drop is darn near perfect. It's a great help that the 2-5/16" ball comes complete, installed and torqued properly at the factory. Appears to be quality construction, fits and functions perfectly. I have no complaints or issues.

WHat a difference having the right drop has on handling. A great product - highly reocmmend.

Retail type stores only carry mainstream items so when I needed a special length ball mount for my 2011 Traverse I found the size and quality with Curt Products .

I cannot use this ball mount because the shaft is too short that goes into hitch receiver on my one ton Dodge truck. It does not allow enough room between truck back bumper and ball to allow any trailer tongue to be put on ball.

I purchased this for use with a friction anti sway device I installed on an enclosed V nose trailer. It worked well.

Product came just as described and fit perfectly for what I needed. I used it for a hitch mounted on the frame of the rear of my fifth wheel rv. Hitch was mounted at the very end of the I-beam style frame i had on rv but I wasn't comfortable with the length of a standard size ball mount receiver. It needed to be longer. This product was exactly what I needed to complete my rv hitch setup. Thanks e-trailer !

Very happy with this ball mount - provides just the amount of drop we required for a level tow of our GeoPro travel trailer by our RAM2500. Plus, the extra length not only allows a tighter turning radius, but also allows us to lower the truck tailgate without having to detach the trailer. Huge improvement on all accounts for us compared to our prior setup. The product is well built and I'm confident will provide us years of good use.

Everything was as expected. Installation was a piece of cake after watching the very much appreciated video on etrailer.com. The hitch is very sturdy and fit like a glove. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Great design, easy install. Runs a touch low but that's how the back of Ford Explorer is designed for after-market installs. I would have probably purchased a hitch with upright assembly if possible.

I bought the 1 7/8 and 2 inch combo so that switching between the two is as easy as pulling a pin. However, I didn't realize that I had to install the ball. I had to find someone with a wrench and torque wrench big enough to do it. Otherwise, excellent quality as usual from E-Trailer.
