Adjustable aluminum hitch with a 6" drop, designed for height alignment and equipped with a dual ball mount that flips between 2" and 2-5/16" sizes.
Different trailer tongue heights can leave your trailer sitting nose-high or nose-low. The adjustable drop bar provides 6" of drop or rise with 1" adjustment increments, giving you specific height positions to work with as trailer height changes. Your trailer can be set closer to level before you head out.
Moving between trailers with different coupler sizes usually means changing the connection setup. The dual ball mount flips between 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls, keeping both confirmed ball sizes on the same mount. Your setup can move from one supported ball size to the other by flipping the ball mount.
Heavier trailers put the hitch rating high on the priority list. This mount is rated for 12,500 lbs gross towing weight and 1,500 lbs maximum tongue weight, giving your towing setup defined limits for substantial loads. You can match your planned load against those ratings before towing.
An exposed ball mount can remain behind your vehicle after the trailer is disconnected. The stow-away function positions the ball mount under the receiver when it's not in use. Your ball mount stays tucked underneath until the next hookup.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Trimax Razor Ultra Adjustable Aluminum 2-Ball Mount for your two-inch trailer hitch receiver. So this is an adjustable drop hitch and it's going to allow you to fine tune the height of your trailer connection, so everything's going to stay level while you're towing. This is going to give you up to about six inches of drop when you have it in this orientation. And then when you flip this over, about six inches of rise.
So you're going to be able to adjust this in one inch increments. It's going to be really easy to dial in the exact height that you are looking for. So this is aluminum, and as you know, this is going to be much lighter than steel. It's going to be a lot easier to handle when you're taking this on and off your vehicle, when you're adjusting the height. And it's going to make a big difference if you're moving this around or you just don't want to deal with a heavy hitch.
Another benefit is going to be corrosion resistance and it's also going to, it's not going to rust like steel over time. It's going to hold up better over time, especially if you're in areas with a lot of rain, snow, or road salt. And so what I've been doing here is just walking you through how easy this is going to be to get that height adjustment. You saw that I just swapped the ball from the two and 5/16ths to the two-inch ball. Another cool thing about this is you're going to be able to stow this so when it's not in use, you can put the ball platform behind the shank like this.
Obviously you'll replace the pin and clip to lock it into place. So then in that position, you're not going to have to worry about accidentally banging up your shins when you're walking behind your truck when you're not hooked up to a trailer. So again, everything's going to be very easy to get that adjustment that you're looking for. I'm just going to line up my holes here and replace my pin and clip. So another thing I wanted to mention is we do have other versions of this available.
So if you're looking for a bigger drop rise, we do have that available. And if you're looking for something, it'll slide into a two and a half inch rather than a two-inch trailer hitch receiver. We have those options available. And then we also have this available in steel. So a lot of options we have for you from Trimax. I took some measurements before our time together just to give you a good idea of the size. So measuring from the center of the first hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, pretty close to a nine and a quarter inches. Moving to the center of the second hitch pin hole, about 10 and a quarter inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one and three quarters inches. I think that's going to wrap up our look today. I do hope that was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
