Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at a Replacement Red Lens for the Optronics MC38RB Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light. That's right, folks, so this is just a simple replacement plastic lens, the lens only, and it does fit and work with the red lens for the Optronics MC38RB Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light. I'll throw up some dimensions. It's about 1 5/16 inches wide at the top. Keep in mind this lens is kind of like sloped upward, if you will, and it's about 15/16 of an inch tall, and on the top oval part, it is 3 3/4 inches on the top.

Now, when I measured the base, including these little sides, I got about 4 1/8 inches overall on that. So, again, the very, very outside to the very, very outside. So, just some quick dimensions for you. Again, direct replacement lens for those Optronics MC38RB Clearance or Side Marker Lights. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

We love these! Prior to installing these on our flatbed, the straps would have to be routed through the stake panels which would eventually pop the bottom boards loose and/or bend the metal posts. These give us an option to tie down inside the perimeter of the flatbed which is great! Will buy again for sure!

    SAE numbers aren't part numbers so it's hard to pick out replacement lights based on of them since that's not info that's stored as a cross reference. We've had customers with a similar number SAE-AP2-79 which turned out to be the # 423000 for red and then for amber part # MC38AB. For just the amber lens you'd need the part # A38AB. For just the red lens you'd want the part # A38RB.
