Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at these mounting pins for your Maxtrax MKII and Xtreme recovery boards. This mounting pin set is going to let you secure two Maxtrax MKII with two Xtreme recovery boards on top. And these pins are going to secure onto your crossbars or platform rack. And these are gonna be perfect to use with compatible recovery board brackets that mount to your roof rack. These quick-release pins insert through the pin holes on the boards, and then they're going to bolt onto your overlanding system.
And let me go ahead and remove the hardware off of this pin, retrieve my ruler here, and just give you the measurement of that bolt. So as you can see, we are sitting right at 1 9/16 inches long on that bolt length. And each of these pins are gonna come with the hardware that you need to install this onto your overlanding system. You're going to receive four M10 nuts and four washers. And the holes on the pins are going to let you attach small padlocks, and those padlocks are sold separately.
However, you can find some options on this product page, on the lower portion of the product page under the Related Products section. And so, you're going to secure the boards after you slide the boards over the pins by turning these knuckles. And then that's going to secure the boards onto these pins. And like I said, you can run a padlock through there to make sure that everything's nice and secure to deter theft. These pins are constructed of nylon along with stainless steel.
