Hello everybody, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement Sealed Pressure Switch for the Firestone Remote Air Commands. Now, folks, this specifically is a replacement sealed pressure switch for the models F2546 and F2547. Now, they've got the nice little green cap here and you can screw that off. It's just a protective cap for shipping and whatnot. They've got the pipe dope on there, pipe thread sealer, whatever you wanna call it, and you've got your two wire connections here, blade style.
So, again, one wire connects to the relay, the other one connects to ground. That thread size was a one eighth inch male MPT, or National Pipe Thread, and the pressure switch, this will turn it on at 90 PSI and shut off the compressor when it reaches 120 PSI. And this installs in line between the air compressor and the tank itself. Well, that's gonna wrap it up folks. Just a quick look together at a replacement Sealed Pressure Switch from Firestone.
I'm Steven. Have a good one.
The Firestone Replacement Pressure switch was exactly as described and has worked great and without issues. I would purchase again and would recommend to anyone.
Parts assembled easy, quality you can feel when handling. Now I'm waiting while tank pressurizes and the switch to do its job. Waiting........waiting......compressors heating up a lil more than I'm comfortable with....is this switch a good one? Hmmmmm
Haven't used this yet, bought it as a backup but the first one is working out well.
