Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Firestone Air Command Heavy-Duty Compressor and half gallon tank. Now, this kit is a compressor and air tank combination for use in conjunction with the Firestone automatic leveling systems, and with the electric quad-gauge control for RVs. Basically, this kit will provide convenient onboard inflation and deflation of your air springs. Now, the kit will include everything here on the table, just wanna zoom in to show you the pieces here. It will include this heavy-duty air compressor, it has the 150 max psi, the air filter that'll connect to the air compressor, comes with the half gallon air tank right here, 18 feet of air line tubing, a 25 foot extension hose, and all the installation hardware you need, nice set of instructions on how to install it and how it operates, and even some cable ties to take up any slack in the air line.
Now the extension hose, the 25 foot long extension hose, this can be used for emergency tire inflation. Now, on the air compressor, it is we've mentioned 150 max psi, amperage is 13 amps, duty cycle is 30%, flow rate is based on this half gallon tank, so 0 to 30 psi, 14 seconds, 0 to 60 psi, about 35 seconds, cubic feet per minute at a 100 psi is 0.40. Last thing I wanna do is just give you some dimensions on the air tank. The diameter on it is gonna be right at six inches, and the length, we're gonna measure from the parts that the connector's sticking out, so the length is going to be right at 7 1/2 inches long. Kit includes a 1/2-gallon air reservoir and a heavy-duty compressor with 150 max psi.We manufacture whitewater jet boats, and this is an excellent kit when installing air ride seats for driver and passenger. The product is great, but the shipping was a little hard on the packages as some of the hardware was close to coming completely out of the box.
The product seems to be great, I only have one problem, the 25' black air hose with fill connectors on both ends does not have any directions on how to connect to air pump its one lenght with no way to connect it directly to pump, any ideas or direction would be helpful, thank you Richard.
I purchased a firestone F2320 kit with the air command I kit. When I did so they asked for completed pictures of the install. I have some low resolution shots here, should you want higher resolution or any other images, please let me know and i will send over whatever you need. Unloaded… the kit gave me 3" more height at 80psi.
The Firestone Air Command kit was well described and the installation instructions were easily understood. the installation went smoothly and the system works perfectly. I am 100% satisfied !!
I recently purchased this compressor kit along with the AirLift Loadlifter 7500 XL air springs for my 2015 Silverado 3500. Installation for both is pretty straight forward but it did take me longer than I expected (about 8 hours total). They definitely help keep the ride height at factory designed levels & the auto leveling feature with the air compressor is excellent. I definitely recommend the wireless remote for the do-it-yourselfers as install doesn't require piercing the firewall to run wires for a switch. The wireless remote gives a digital easy to read screen that you can adjust while driving even. Overall I give this product a 5 star rating.
