Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Equal-i-zer Replacement Socket. Now, this replacement socket is going to mount in the head of your Equal-i-zer weight distribution system, and it's going to give you an attachment point for one spring bar rated at 6,000 pounds gross towing weight and 600 pounds tongue weight. And just to give the further confidence that this is going to be what you need, I'm just gonna give you that inner measurement there as best as I can. So as I hope you can see, that inner measurement is 1-5/16 inches.
You're wondering about the overall length, looks like we're sitting right at 3-3/4 inches. The overall what I'm calling height looks like 1-3/4 inches. This is the direct replacement from Equal-i-zer, so you can have the confidence that this is going to fit and work just like that original one. Maybe that original one got damaged or misplaced somehow. So you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that.

I have used etrailer several times. The products are always good and shipped out quickly. Don’t know why this proprietary part wasn’t painted black to match the equal-I-er hitch?
I had two socket failures. So having a spare is comforting. Maybe having round sockets rather than square sockets would work better.
