Is there a kit that will work for a marine GM 6.5L turbo diesel?

Hey Frank, I am sure there is but it would come down to knowing what the o-ring diameter of the oil filter that fits the engine as well as the thread size. If you have an oil filter part number that fits that engine let me know and I'll be able to look up the specs.
For example the # D15716 that you referenced has a filter thread size of 3/4"-16 and has o-ring diameters of 2-3/4" and 3-1/2". We also have some kits that have multiple thread options so let me know what you find.
