The oil filter thread size on your 1998 Chevy K3500 with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel engine is 13/16-16" so the Derale Oil Filter Relocation Kit # D15716 you were already looking at will work perfectly. This kit includes all the components necessary to move the oil filter to a more convenient location on the truck.
