The Derale Oil Filter Relocation Kit, # D15718, is one possible fit for a 1990 Chevy with a 5.7 liter engine. If your existing engine accepts 20 mm x 1.5 mm threads then this is the correct kit for you. You can check the specs on the oil filter to determine if it uses these threads.
The other possible option is # D15716. It uses 13/16 inch-16 threads into the engine.
After you determine which size is on your engine, you will need to use a specific oil filter size with the adapter. The Frame part is PH8A but you can use a different brand as long as it has 3/4 inch -16 threads.
