Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for the Ford F250 and F350 trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2004 Ford F250 and F350 trucks, with either the six and three quarter foot bed, or the eight food bed. Now, on any custom fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, these are custom brackets, these will mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails to connect to. The base rails we do sell separately. These brackets do require the Curt base rails, we sell those in either the part number C16104, or C16204.
Now, these brackets will provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicles frame. This will help minimize the amount of drilling that is required, and it cuts the installation time in half, when compared with universal bracket kits. It does include everything shown here on the table; it includes the two mounting brackets, all the mounting hardware you need to install it, and a nice set of detailed instructions. Now, when these brackets are used with the Curt base rails, this part is compatible with BMW, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley fifth wheel hitches. Installed by myself in a couple of hours. I had universal brackets that had to be removed first, that's why it took longer. Would i buy this product from etrailer again? [HECK] YES! The fifth wheel mounting brackets were delivered as promised.The instructions were concise and easy to understand.We were able to complete installation in about an hour and a half.Made the whole install go much easier.
