Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the replacement rear anchors for the Curt 5th wheel hitches for the Ram OE towing prep package, and it is for quantity of two anchors. Now this will replace the rear anchors that lock your 5th wheel hitch to the factory prep package pucks in your Ram truck. And as I mentioned, these replace the two anchors that are positioned closest to your tailgate. These are designed to work with the front anchors, which we do sell separately. They're part number C68UR.
And the reason they're different is because on the Ram trucks, they use two different size anchors. I'm going to zoom in just to show you this one, as we've mentioned is the rear size, and I happened to pull, here's what the front size would look like. So you can see the difference in the two. So that's the reason they sell them in sets of two.Now these do work with the following Curt 5th wheel hitches, the A16, the A20, the A25, the E16, the Q20, Q24 and the Q25. All of those Curt hitches, we do sell separately on our website.
Now this kit will include the two anchors and the hardware needed. These do install to the 5th wheel hitch with handles. Now the handles are sold separately. They're part number C78UR, and they're listed on this product page as a related product. Now, basically once these are installed with the handles, these anchors will rotate 90 degrees, and what they ended up doing is locking your 5th wheel hitch to your truck. So when you drop these into the factory puck system on your Dodge or your Ram truck, and then you twist those handles 90 degrees, you can see that will lock them into place and hold your hitch to your truck.
And then when you're ready to remove it, if you just rotate it back the 90 degrees, so they line up, and you do that on all four anchors, then you can pull your hitch right out. But that should do it for the review on the replacement rear anchors for the Curt 5th wheel hitches for the Ram OE towing prep package for a quantity of two.
