Hitch Cargo Carrier With Ramp for 250 lb Generator

Question:
Looking for a unit with a ramp attachment for loading generator 230-250lbs. Product UWS65XR looks like it has a cargo bottom that is solid enough to take the weight of the generator on wheels. My previous one collapsed.

Hey Tim! You can use the 23" x 51" UWS Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # UWS65XR but there isn't an option for a ramp. The only cargo carrier we have with a ramp right now is the 32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches # PS10401-10402. This has a capacity of 400 lbs so it can definitely handle the weight of your generator.
Is the generator for camping or something else?

Hey Tim, how did the Reese cargo carrier with the folding ramp work out for loading your generator? It sounds like the ramp could make things much easier. Sharing what you found might help others moving heavy gear too.
