Best RV AC Unit to Replace Dometic Ducted 15k BTU Unit

I am wanting to swap out my 15000 Dometic ducted unit with furnace what is best swap out to would not mind a more powerful unit?

Hey Lauren, if you can wait a little bit the best option is the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD to replace what you have now. This is a complete kit to replace your Dometic unit that is more powerful, a lot quieter, and has a thermostat that is compatible with furnaces. This also has the ability to have the remote act as the thermostat too. So as of today (3/18/2025) this is a little over a month from being available though so I figured I should mention that.

Hey Lauren, did you end up going with the Furrion Chill Cube for your swap from the Dometic unit? It’d be great to hear how the upgrade worked once it became available. Your update could make it easier for the next person planning a similar replacement.
