I am in the process or buying a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium. I do not see any options for this particular vehicle listed on your website for a tow hitch and wiring. Can you please advise?

Hi John; we actually have both a hitch and wiring available for your 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium. I recommend the following:

-TowSmart Trailer Hitch Receiver # TS42VR

OR

-Oris Hitches Detachable Hitch # TS66VR

-Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56434

The TowSmart hitch is my new go to for the RAV4. It has a concealed cross tube so only the receiver will be visible at the rear. It also comes with a matte black finish. If you would rather have a completely hidden design and don't mind spending the extra money the Oris is the way to go since it has a removable receiver.

The Curt wiring harness plugs into the connection points in the rear cargo area and will give you a 4-way to power your signal lights. If you need a ball mount to complete your setup check out the etrailer Ball Mount # e67DR.

I have a very similar question to that posed by John P. I just bought a 2025 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in hybrid, aka Rav4 Prime. But my trailer needs a 7-pin connector, not a 4-pin flat connector. Please advise.

@JohnP the only thing we haven't confirmed will fit the PHEV from the parts above is the Oris Hitch. The etrailer hitch and the 4-way (required to add a 7-way) will work on your 2025 RAV4 PHEV. Then to upgrade the 4-way to a 7-way you will need the # ETBC7. If you need a 7-way because your trailer has brakes you will also need a brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. This is my favorite brake controller because it takes up no space in the cab and has an OEM look with the knob in the dash. It is also incredibly reliable and easy to use.

Does the Curt wiring harness for the 2025 RAV4 trailer hitch include the Toyota-type amplifier?

@Phil I'm not sure what the Toyota-type amplifier is. The # C56434 plugs into the connection points behind the tail lights and a hot lead runs to the battery. That line to the battery is what powers the converter box to keep your wiring protected.
