Is There EcoHitch that Fits 2025 Toyota RAV4 Plug In Hybrid

Question:

Can you verify the # EH97FR is verified to fit the 2025 Rav4 plug-in hybrid? Would there be any plastic cutting required? Thanks!

Hey Miles, yes we have confirmed that the EcoHitch part # EH97FR does fit the 2025 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Plug In. There is some lower fascia trimming needed to install the hitch but not a significant amount at all. What will you be using the hitch for?

Hi Jameson, I’ll be using the hitch for light to moderate towing (max 2500 lbs) and for carrying a few very heavy e-bikes on a rack, so I’ll need a solid tongue weight rating.. I like the look and height of the OEM Toyota hitch, but I don’t want to cut into the plastic bumper or pay $1000+ for dealer installation. Some photos appear to show no plastic cutting. Also concerned about losing the kick sensor for liftgate. Thanks..

@Miles You'll need trailer wiring too when towing so for that I would recommend the Tekonsha kit part # 118801 since it installs the easiest and has most reliable converter box. Do you have an e-bike rack already? If not, what do yours weigh? You will lose a little bit of the sensor range with the hitch installed but you'll still be able to kick to either side of the hitch and activate it.
