Is There Bearing Buddy that is Slightly Smaller that Size for 1.98 inch Hub Bore

Question:

I own a Mastercraft 1998 SportStar. The trailer is a 1998 SS-19 single axle equiped with brakes and the Bearing Buddy Axle. VIN is 19MC31S18W2000374. Trailer rating is 3740 lbs. One of the Bearing Buddies recently fell off while trailering. Can you tell me what size Bearing Buddy fits this trailer? I tried an after-market 1.98 and it was slightly too big. Thanks.

Hey David, so the next smallest sized Bearing Buddy is the part # BB1968 and then # BB1938. That's just a little smaller than the 1.98 size you tried so that is PROBABLY what you need but it would be best to measure first to be sure.

I don't think that's correct. Per the Bearing Buddy website, there is also a 1.968 and a 1.938.

@David You're right! We have them with part # BB1938 and # BB1968. When I looked at our list of Bearing Buddies for some reason that size wasn't being shown yet we definitely do carry them so my apologies. I would use a caliper like # PTW80157 to get an exact diameter of your hub bore to be sure.
