Can 2009 Honda Civic Tow 1,000 lb Trailer
Question:
Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to fit a 2009 Honda Civic with a hitch big enough to tow a small trailer - combined total of trailer and load to equal around 1,000-1,500 pounds. Thank you!

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2009 Honda Civic and it appears to have a 1,000 lb capacity. So if you could keep the trailer under 1,000 lbs total you would be good. You'd need a hitch like the Curt # C11391 that fits your vehicle and has more capacity than needed as well.
Then for trailer wiring you'd want the part # 118420 if you have a sedan or part # 118437.
