For a replacement brake actuator on your 2000 Prestige Boat Trailer I recommend the following depending on what type of brakes you have:
-Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Disc Brakes # 099-175-20
-Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes # 099-175-00
Both of these fit a 3" wide channel tongue and a 2" ball. The capacity is 7,500 lbs which is more than enough for your boat and trailer. They also feature the Drop-N-Go coupler mechanism so it will automatically seat around and latch on the ball even in the closed position.
The model for disc brakes comes with an electric lockout. The model from drum brakes does not have a lockout at all. If you have free-backing brakes you won't need one, otherwise you can add the # T4748800 for an electric lockout.
