Recommended The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch For My 2008 Honda CR-V
Question:
Have a 2008 CRV EX-L FWD. Do you still recommend the Draw_Tite #75547 receiving hitch? What is weight of this receiving hitch itself compared to the weight of the EcoHitch #306-7291.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 75547, will still be my recommendation. It has a maximum tongue weight of 675 lbs and a maximum gross tongue weight of 4,500 lbs, which is greater than the other compatible trailer hitch receivers. It weigs 32.8 lbs. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # 306-X7291, you reference in your question is actually the heavier of the two trailer hitches. It weighs 36 lbs.
I have included product description links and a video of this trailer hitch receiver being installed on a 2009 Honda CR-V below.
