Question:
Hi, I have a 1998 Coleman Sun Ridge pop up camper. I’m looking for new drums and electric brakes. I believe the weight limit on the axle sticker says 3000 lbs, but it’s not clear. What part numbers fit this axle? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The correct braking assemblies for a 1998 Coleman Sun Ridge Pop-Up Camper with Dexter 3,000 Lb Axle is the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # K23-472-473-00. We don't offer a new hub/drum for this size axle but we do offer the bearings and seals, part # LM67048 for the inner, part # L44649 for the outer, and part # 58846 for the grease seal.
Please note, if the surface on the drums where the brake shoe rides is damaged you can have them turned by local shops but aside from this new bearings and seals will get you back up and running.
