Recommended Bike Rack for Aventon Pace 350 and Espin Flow e-Bikes

Question:

Hello, I am interested in a Hollywood rack for our two ebikes. But I am getting confused as the model numbers on the Hollywood website dont seem to completely match etrailers website. Hollywood website: Sport Rider for Electric Bikes SKU: HR1500 Sport Rider SE for Cargo Bikes SKU: HR1450Z-W etrailer: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount - HLY84FR Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount - HR1450Z Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - HLY74FR Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack for 2 Fat Bikes - 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount - HR1450Z-FB Regarding our bikes: one is an Aventon Pace 350 45 lbs and the other is an Espin Flow 55 lbs. Both are step-through and they are not fat tire. Pictures attached. The hitch is a 2inch Draw-Tite on a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. Can you help me determine which Hollywood rack I need? Ive also considered the Saris SuperClamp EX but I feel like the fenders would be a problem. I also feel like the Hollywood style, with the way the tires sit in the wire frame, would be easier to load meaning, load front tire first, then lift back tire in. Im also interested in a recommendation on how to attach the frame clamps to the frames. Thank you!

We sell the Hollywood Racks HR1500 SportRider SE as part # HLY84FR and the # HLY74FR we offer is the Hollywood Racks part number HR1560. We sell the same exact Hollywood Racks products, we just use different part numbers. Hopefully, this will eliminate the confusion.

The Hollywood Racks # HLY74FR is compatible with both 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch receivers, while the # HLY84FR works with 2 inch hitches only. For step through frame bikes such as yours, you'll want to use bike frame adapter bars such as # HRBA-PRO. Hollywood Racks makes an outstanding product that I highly recommend.

The Saris # SA4025F SuperClamp EX would also be an excellent choice. Unlike most racks that secure the bikes via the tops and bottoms of the tires, both front and rear wheel trays of the SuperClamp are equipped with straps, which makes the rack very suitable for bikes with fenders like yours.

Any of these racks would work well with your hitch.

If I had to choose between the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE or the Saris SuperClamp EX, I'd go with the Saris rack, because you won't need the adapter bars, the rack is much lighter (by about 20 lbs) and because it's manufactured in the USA.

I've linked to demonstration videos for the products mentioned above.
