Question:

Hi, I am looking for a bike rack for my Jeep Wrangler, I have a hitch but may need to buy a hitch extender to have one of your bike racks work. The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2 Hitches - Frame Mount, is one im interested in as I have a fat tire e bike and a regular size e bike. They are both step through bikes though so I was wondering if this bike rack would be a good match for me? If not is there another one that you could recommend? Thank you so much!

Hey Anthony thanks for stopping by! The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR will work fine with your step thru bikes, but you're also going to need an adapter bar # HRBA-PRO.

If you're not sold on the Sport Rider SE, then I'd suggest going with the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR. This rack is very similar to the SportRider SE but does not require the adapter bar for step thru bikes.

Both racks can handle the exact same size bikes, so whichever you choose you'll be set! If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to let me know below!

Thank you so much for the information Bryce, so just to be sure both of these racks would be fine on the Jeep Wrangler to fit over the spare tire without the need for a hitch adapter? And one thing I forgot to ask is if both of these bike racks can hold heavy weight as my bike itself is 80 pounds and my girlfriends is over 50 pounds itself? Thanks for all the help!

@AnthonyN Hey Anthony, yes both of these racks will work with your spare tire and they can both handle up to 160 lbs so it'll handle both of those bike easily.

@BryceD perfect thank you so much for your help Bryce. Do you personally have a preference when it comes to the two. They seem pretty similar besides the adapter. Just trying to see which you might prefer if it were you?

@BryceD hi Bryce, I had one last question, I have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" in my jeep , so would the Hollywood Racks Rv Rider fit in the receiver ? I wanted to make sure before ordering. Thanks so much!
