Question:
I stripped one of the wheel studs pretty good putting on new trailer tires. Am I able to replace just a stud. Or do I need to replace the whole drum?

You should be able to replace the wheel stud, but you'll need to drive the stripped stud out and get the measurements shown in the provided diagram in order to locate the correct replacement. You'll need a drift punch that is smaller in diameter than the wheel stud and a heavy hammer.
If you have a hub/drum for a 3500 lb axle (like the # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K you'd looked at), the replacement wheel stud would be # 7-122.
If you have a different hub, provide me with the measurements shown in the diagram, and we'll help identify the correct replacement.
