Question:
What are the correct measurements for installing the clamps/bars on a 2020 CR-V. The ones included with my roof racks are incorrect. I have the recommended 53” wing bars and the kit 145046. X- 47.5 Y - 40.5 Z - 290 W - 700 I can get the front x onto car- but the rubber foot doesn’t seat itself as shown in sketch. The rear Y measurement of 40.5 for clamp doesn’t fit the car at all. The rubber feet can’t reach the groove at all- let alone have the 3mm overlap prior to tightening the clamp. Please provide me with the correct measurements for a 2020 Honda CR-V AWD EX. Thank you

Your Thule roof rack will attach to the naked roof of your 2020 Honda CR- V with the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack Feet - 5046, part # TH145046. In order to install this roof rack to your vehicle you need four different measurements:
Z = the distance from the top trim of your windshield to the closest edge of the Thule foot of the front crossbar = 11-3/8"
W = the distance from the front edge of the front crossbar to the front edge of the rear crossbar = 27-1/2"
X = the distance between the Thule feet on the front crossbar on the Evo scale = 47,5
Y = the distance between the Thule feet on the rear crossbar on the Evo scale = 40,5.
There are other things you need to be aware of during the installation of this roof rack. Each of the foot pads and clips are numbered. so you need to make sure the numbered parts are placed in their correct positions. When you tighten the clips, you need to make sure you are tightening them down evenly. It is also VERY important to get the Z measurement correct. If that measurement is incorrect, nothing lines up properly.
I included an installation video of this rack being installed on a 2019 Honda CR-V. You might find it helpful.
