My 2008 Winnebago View has a 6 pin traliler connector on the back. Can I use a 6 to 7 way adapter with the C51180?

You could indeed use an adapter like the Hopkins 6-way to 7-way adapter, part # 47435. Keep in mind, there are two accepted ways of wiring a 6-way trailer connector. One uses the center pin as the 12-v feed, the other uses the center pin as the output circuit for the trailer brake controller. The adapter is set up for center pin 12-v feed, but if your existing 6-way is wired the opposite, you can re-pin it as shown in the linked video.
