Question:
I have a 27foot 2000 Forest River Wildwood 5th wheel converted to goose neck with 5200# axles. Its gross weight is under 10K pounds with about 2K pound goose neck tongue weight. Is the Road Armor superior with 2 dampers to the Equa Flex single damper system? I noticed the Road Armor takes longer to ship. I know both are superior to the stock solid arm I have now. Which measurements are needed to order the correct shackles and other parts? Axles are 33inch apart. Shackles are approx. 3.5inch in length end to end and center to center bolts are about 2 3/8inch if memory is correct. I plan on changing to wet bolts with brass bushings. Lots of creaking when turning and backing up. Also, having the axles changed to under springs to adapt to the new taller truck. Im pulling it with my 2020 Ram 2500 4x4 6.7L 6foot short bed. Youll notice when I rebuild the RV a few years ago, I went for the woody look on the back. See photo. See other campers looking at it in wonder. What model is that? Cheers

Your trailer looks awesome!
The Road armor equalizers # LC696740 and Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687 are both pretty similar in performance even though the Road Armor has two dampers.
The main difference is the size of the equalizers. The Road Armor # LC696740 is 6" long measured from the center of one horizontal mounting hole to the center of the other horizontal mounting hole, and 3-1/2" from the center of the upper hole the center line of the two lower mounting holes as shown in the included diagram.
The Equa-Flex # LC279687 measures 5-1/2" long and 2-1/2" tall.
The correct one is the one that more closely matches your current equalizers.
If you can tell me the exact measurement center to center of the two holes in your current shackles I would be happy to recommend the correct replacements.
Since you mentioned you are planning on adding an axle over-under kit you will need the Dexter # K71-385-00 for each of your 5200lb axles. This will lift your trailer by the diameter of the axle (3") plus the height of the leaf spring stack.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

Hi, I have a 2021 Rockwood Heritage Glenn - WBT22RBHL, and it is the "wide stance" kind with the 42" wheelbase. What equalizer upgrade can I consider for a suspension upgrade? Thanx!
