Difference Between The Curt & etrailer Class III 2 Hitch Receiver
Question:
It appears that the Curt C13382 and the eTrailer e98912 are the same except for paint color, i.e., the eTrailer hitch is a private label of the Curt product. Is this true and are there any other differences?

Expert Reply:
Both the Curt # C13382 and the etrailer # e98912 hitch are a 2" Class III hitch receiver that will provide a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs. You are correct, they are an identical hitch but our hitch receiver is a little less glossy which makes it hide the blemishes it get from just driving down the road. Ours will look newer, longer. Both do not come with any accessories # C45534 but do come with the hardware to install. Shane did make an installation video on a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with the etrailer hitch and I've included it to help you with the install!
