There are a lot of great solutions to your problem, but to upgrade your trailer axles from 6,000 lbs to 7,000 lbs, you need to replace your axles entirely. Adding higher capacity hubs alone won't change the weight capacity of your axles. Note that even if you decide to upgrade your axles, you still might be limited by the weight capacity of your trailer frame or coupler as these could be rated less than your axle capacity.
To upgrade your axles, I recommend a full kit that includes a 7,000 lb axle and hubs, such as the Dexter Trailer Axle with Electric Brakes # 8327834-EB. This kit features an axle with 95" hub length and 80" spring seat length. To recommend a kit guaranteed to fit your trailer, I need to know hub length (from outside of one hub to the other) and spring seat length (from center to center of spring seats) on your trailer. Check out the link below for our full selection of 7,000 lb axles.
The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-219-18UC3 you were looking at has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and fits 16" - 17-1/2" wheels. You need to check the bearings and grease seal dimensions to make sure the hub will fit for your axles. The bearing and grease seal dimensions are as follows:
- Inner bearing: 1.750" inner diameter
- Outer bearing: 1.250" inner diameter
- Grease Seal: 3.376" outer diameter, 2.25" inner diameter
