Best Lightweight Single Bike Rack Recommendation for 1-1/4 inch Hitch with Capacity for E-Bike
Question:
Ive been scouring the etrailer site for days. I have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with a 1.25 hitch and want to use a rack that is relatively light for me to lift, has channels in the deck for the tires, is preferably for one bike, and is not too bulky. I plan to roll the bike along the channels/grooves when loading onto the rack. Lifting a heavy bike isnt an option for me. I plan to work out a ramp system to use to load the bike onto the rack similar to the Saris MTR Ramp, but am not sure how that works with this type of rack. I will eventually have a 50 pound ebike, but currently my bike weighs about 35 pounds. The Thule easy fold is too bulky for me, so Im looking for an alternative. Im open to suggestions from the team experts! Thanks in advance for your answer.

The RockyMounts MonoRail part # RKY10007 would be your best option. It only weighs 25 lbs and has a 60 lb capacity that will work great with a heavier e-bike as well. It's a super small and compact design too like what you are looking for! It fits the 1-1/4 inch hitch size as well.
I attached a review video for more info on this for you to check out as well.

Thanks. I have 2 questions. Do you have any split rail platform racks that are lightweight. And, do the tire holds on the INNO rack fold towards the ground so that I can use a ramp to load the bike? Thank you in advance.
