Dexter p-12 model 0100

It looks like you're likely trying to replace your hubs/drums on your Dexter axle and I do believe that the "0100" you found on the spec plate actually reads "D100" since that was one of the models that Dexter had for this particular line of axles; I've confirmed this with Dexter as well. These axles were 10k axles and they came in both a general duty and a heavy duty model with the 10k capacity. In order to find out which hub/drum will work as a replacement, you'll need to pull the hubs and check for numbers that are stamped on the backs of the bearings; if there are no numbers stamped on the backs, you can measure the spindle on the axle using a digital calipers like the # PTW80157. I've also attached a diagram of what parts on the spindle would need to be measured. If you there is a casting number on the hub/drum assembly, this would also be helpful.
If you get everything apart and find that you've got a # 25580(1.750") inner bearing and # 387A (2.250") outer bearing, you can use the Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-430-5UC3, which is designed for 10k axles. Since these are oil bath hubs, you'll want to use the Kodiak Synthetic Bearing Oil # XLPROLUBE. If you get everything apart and find that you've got different bearings on your hubs, please let me know and I can recommend a suitable alternative.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at, as well.

I have a question I hope you can help. I paid a mechanic to replace my bearings, seals and hub covers along with new electric trailer brakes. All 4 started spraying fluid, overheating and chewing tires up less than 5 miles. He took the stud spacers off and says it doesn’t need them and refuses to fix them or return the spacers. Do they in fact need the spacers for proper alignment
