Correct Bearing Kit for Dexter 2,000 Lb Torsion Axle SLR P-12

Question:

I have the Dexter axle in the pictures and I am trying to purchase tires and bearings from you. I need some help with the weight rating of the axle to purchase the correct tires as well as part numbers for the wheel bearings. What I can tell from the pictures is it’s a Dexter model SLR P-12 with serial number D3180259. The tires currently on it are 5 lug wheels size 4.80-12 but I can not read the ply or weight rating due to dry rot. Unfortunately I can no longer read the sticker on the axle either as shown in the pictures. Thank you for any assistance!

I reached out to Dexter and I was able to confirm that the correct bearing kit for your axle is the Bearing Kit, L44649 Inner/Outer Bearings part # BK1-150. In regards to the tires, this isn't something they have record of as it would have been whatever the trailer manufacturer installed on the trailer. That said, we only offer the 4.80x12 in two different load ranges, B and C so just make sure whatever you choose covers you and your trailer. I have attached a list below of options.
