Recommended Wireless Backup or Observation Camera for Dump Trailer
Question:
Im looking for a Wireless Backup or Rear Camera. I want to install a camera onto the front of my Gooseneck dump trailer. I have a safe place to install it at the top, center, front of the bed. The bed is 14 long, Im wanting to see about 16 behind the camera to tell when the gravel starts sliding out of the bed. Do you have a recommendation as to which camera would be best for this use? It sounds like you are looking for a totally wireless observation camera for your dump trailer, and for that I recommend the Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera # RVS-83112.
This says it is a hitch camera but it can absolutely be used for your purposes as it can be used for observation as well. I added a photo a customer sent in that shows it being used on their truck to see their truck bed with a fifth wheel so you can get an idea of its view.
The camera mounts magnetically so keep that in mind, and the monitor is a simple plug-in to your 12 volt (cigarette lighter) so it is really easy to use. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera # RVS-83112.
