Replacement 7-Way Connector for 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
I have a 2006 f350. Need a 7 pole receptacle replacement that will fit oem configuration..... would like to have pigtail also. My has a short in it that keeps giving trailer fault error while driving. I need the one on the bumper not in the bed. What do you recommend? Thanks

We do have replacement 7-way connectors for your 2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty, though I'm not 100 percent certain what are are referring to in terms of also wanting a pigtail. What I recommend is replacing your 7-way with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774.
This will plug into your tow package harness and give you a brand new 7-way with the ability to also plug in a 4-way if needed. Since you mentioned having a short I do strongly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector; using it will increase the connector's durability and extend its lifespan.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55774.
