Question:
Hi. Do you have a trailer hitch that is better than the one that came on my Subaru 3.6 outback wagon 2017 for bike racks? And can it be fitted to my car? I want one that works with thule easy fold or comparable platform tilting or swing away rack.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75673 or Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76227 are both excellent options for a 2017 Subaru Outback that will allow you to use the Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202. The best option for you will come down to how much work you are willing to do. The Draw-Tite Hitch part # 75673 is easy to install but has a visible cross tube (see photo one) whereas the Draw-Tite Hitch part # 76227 is more difficult to install but looks nicer once done so (see photo two) and won't limit ground clearance. I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch part # 76227 since you only need to install the hitch one time but will be looking at it almost every day.
I have attached install videos on both options for you. The factory trailer hitch is very restrictive due to the shallow hitch pin hole so you are right to upgrade as this will allow you to use a much greater variety of hitch mounted accessories.
