Question:
Hi Im planning to install Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler using the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for GM. Reading about this product on your site Iv read it doesnt fit on recent GM truck, so I wonder if it will fit on my Chevrolet Traverse 2009. My transmission cooler in included in the radiator, so I plan to add the second one in series with the original. Is those fitting are the good one for my need. I have the regular radiator not the one included in tow package Thanks

According to Derale, the correct fitting to install the D13504 cooler in your 2009 Traverse would be part # D13035, if the return transmission line is attached to the radiator using an E-clip. You would need two of them.
If the connection does not use an E-clip, you would need to use a compression fitting. The correct fitting will depend on the outside diameter of your transmission lines. For a 5/16 inch line use part # D13031, for a 3/8 inch line use # D13032 and for 1/2 inch line use part # D13033. You will need two fittings. The existing transmission line would need to be cut and flared to use the fittings.
