In order to give you an exact torque specification for your trailer wheels, I would need to know the stud size in addition to the diameter that you provided. For example, the most popular 8" diameter wheel we sell with a 4 on 4" lug pattern is the Steel Trailer Wheel part # AM20011 which uses 1/2" lug studs. Therefore, the torque specification will be from 75-85 ft.-lb. With that being said, the torque specification for your trailer wheels is likely from 55-115 ft.-lb but if you can give me your stud size, I would be happy to confirm a more exact range.

Since your lug nuts must be torqued regularly, it is a good idea to keep a torque wrench on hand as opposed to just renting one each time so if you don't have one, I recommend the Powerbuilt Beam-Type Torque Wrench part # ALL644044.

I have attached a photo for you that lists the torque specifications for 8" diameter trailer wheels as well.
