Amount of Play on Dexter 12K Torflex Axle Under Max Load

I was wondering if you knew how much give or how much play there is from an empty load to a loaded load on my torsion axle I mean obviously I understand that depends the weight of the load but lets just say theres 10,000 pounds on it or even 12000

Expert Reply:
In general the amount of articulation travel/play when going from an empty to a maximum load with 12,000 pound Dexter Torflex Axles will be about 2 inches in height and less than an inch in length. I have attached a chart and diagram that goes into much more detail as to the amount of articulation with regards to the start angle that you can also take a look at.
As you mentioned the amount of play in between an empty load and full load will be dependent on exactly how much weight you're putting on the trailer.
