Putting Titan Model 10 Trailer Brake Actuator Back Together
Published 06/02/2015 >
Question:
I bought this part to replace a smashed outer sleeve on my boat trailer hitch and didnt know it was sold as one unit I only needed the outer sleeve. Anyway, when I took off the master pins to take out the outer sleeve, as I pulled the sleeve out, the two rear rollers dropped down and were free. Now, I am trying to replace the broken outer sleeve, and cant get the rear rollers lined up with the holes on the dampers I cant get my fingers up in there and still slide the sleeve in. Any suggestions? My trailer is a 2008 Metal Craft trailer. I am pretty certain this is the exact part #T4750800 I bought through a local parts dealer.

You will pretty much have to remove as much as you can from the interior of the Titan model 10 actuator # T4750800 to be able to get to the parts you need easily. You will have to remove the master cylinder and components forward of it but be careful not to pull the break away cable out too far because then it has to be reset and that is a whole other issue.
I have included a link to the installation details that does explain the process of putting the actuator back together. It is in the latter parts of the instructions. that and the parts breakdown and diagram should be a tremendous help.
