Difference Between Keyed Alike and Keyed Unique on DeadBolt Coupler Lock
Question:
What is the difference between key unique and key alike Just wanted to be sure both keys are the same

When looking at our etrailer.com Coupler Lock # e98888, or any of our etrailer.com locks, "Keyed Unique" means that each of the locks you purchase (if you purchase more than one) will use a different key. If you select "Keyed Alike" instead, each of the locks you purchase (again if purchasing more than one) will use the same key, making it much easier to keep track of if you have multiple trailers.
If you are just purchasing one unit then it does not matter which option you choose (although you will want to go with "Keyed Unique" because there is an extra charge for "Keyed Alike").
