I checked with Ram and for a 2011 Ram 1500 with a 4.7 liter engine the max towing capacity is going to be 7,650 lbs which means that your trailer that would weigh a max of 7,000 lbs would be fine but I'd recommend the use of a weight distribution system since you are so close to the max capacity.

A WD system redistributes some of the tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle to help reduce sag, improve handling and braking.

For you tongue weight of up to 665 lbs the Reese Strait Line system part # RP66083 which has a range of 400-800 lb would be best. It also has the best sway control on the market that works to fight sway before it starts.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
